Ok, I'll admit it, I post a lot of Romances, but, most of my fans are women. As my fan base grows, I'm trying to gather free books that you guys would like too. So here is a list of Western and Men's Adventures! Enjoy

Enter Rodger Dodger, dead-eye marksman and all around vexed soul. Dodger finds he is inexplicably drawn to the Sleipnir and her crazy crew, though he is reluctant to return to the work of a gunslinger after a dreadful history of bloodshed and violence. At the request of a restless spirit, Dodger takes on the work, straps on the biggest guns this side of the Mississippi and soon finds his life will never be the same again. (Which is just fine with him because he didn't like the one he had anyways.)

Warleader - A Blood and Tears Short Story

Ken and Steve reluctantly give up their lawnmowing duties for a weekend of fishing, booze and male bonding. Unfortunately the fish aren't biting, supplies are running low and worst of all ... the beer just ran out. Then, without warning, an alien colony ship arrives in orbit, and that's when Ken's problems REALLY start.

Ken leapt into the hall, saw the flapping flywire and stopped.  He heard a whirring sound, but it was a second or two before his brain connected the noise with the fishing reel on one of the rods, a reel that was rapidly spooling out line.  He spotted a thread of silver stretched taut across the base of the door, and a slow grin spread across his battered face.
  "Gotcha," he muttered, scooping the rod up and adjusting the tension with a quick twist of his fingers.  The whirring changed tone, and the tip of the rod began to bend.  Ken leant back and heaved.

This Week in the Civil War - October 26th - November 1st, 1862

While many volumes have been written on the war from any number of perspectives and the “top 100 battles” have been dissected in excruciating detail, most of these 6,000 events lie largely unexplored and forgotten.

This work focuses on uncovering and telling those stories. It is not our intent or objective to refight the war, but to uncover and document the stories of these families in the war.

This volume is excerpted from our multi-volume work, “All the Battles of the Civil War” which gives a narrative account of the more than 5,000 events which occurred in the war.

This was another relatively slow week in the war with the Lincoln administration continuing to shuffle the top level commanders. There was quite a bit of naval action with the Confederate Ship, the Alabama capturing and burning two British ships carrying cargo bound for union ports.
Union Gen. Ormsby Mitchel died on Thursday and as I have learned more about him I have reflected on the great human toll this war had and the unrealized potential for so many men who died. Mitchel was certainly not noted for his military accomplishments, but as a mathematician and promoter of the science of astronomy he made great strides prior to the war. He authored a most interesting book entitled “The Astronomy of the Bible” which can be downloaded FREE on line.

Approximately 95 pages with more than 90 color and black and white images.

There is considerable debate among photographers about whether film is better than digital with about an equal number lining up on both sides and presenting their opinions and relevant and irrelevant data. It is not the purpose of this volume to espouse one position or another. It is sufficient to know that they are each different and subject to a considerable range of interpretation. 

However, it is quite enjoyable to take one of these old cameras, that have absolutely no automatic functionality, and create excellent images. I suspect that it is the same force that drives auto enthusiasts to take an old Model T Ford car and restore it. They certainly don’t have the power and ease of operation of modern automobiles but they are extraordinarily fun to drive!

Unlike other books about old cameras this one does not dwell on the fine technicalities of the individual camera (although limited technical data is present) but to present images taken with each camera to show the reader concrete examples of images taken with each model.

Understanding why a brilliant research scientist could believe an attack in the open ocean by a shark could be purposefully accomplished is the first priority. He learned quickly that not only was it possible, but that it was exactly what had happened.With hundreds of visiting scientists rotating on and off the island doing research, the list of possible suspects seems insurmountable, but soon is narrowed to a select few. To expose the antagonist Anna and Jay recreate the original dive on the German submarine. It goes horribly wrong resulting in a ghastly death and failing to reveal a murderer. Starting over, Leicester finds an unlikely ally in an original suspect. This assistance leads to the discovery of the killer, but not before another innocent life is lost, and Jay is confronted with his own mortality.

Pristine offshore islands, coastlines ruined by casino hotels, and Gulf of Mexico waters is the setting for intrigue, horror, and quick death. A must read for any aficionado of the Mystery/Thriller genre.
