It is a story of growth, acceptance and having the perseverance to begin again. Nicole, a young single mother, escapes from an abusive ex-boyfriend and the broken dreams of becoming an artist and she travels to a place she knows little about. Nicole’s scared of getting hurt again, but Dylan’s chiseled body, charm, and chocolate brown eyes captivate her and she fall in love. In Alaska, she discovers the power of friendship and true love and begins to let down her guard. But her security is a façade. Soon Nicole’s innocent beauty, taunts a sinister man, and she is caught in a web of deception and danger. Someone evil is stalking her. Someone she had trusted. Will she be saved? Or will she be hunted?

Review: “Wow - what an amazing job Tiffany has done. There wasn't a moment that
I wasn't engaged with the characters or the plot. The build up of mystery and tension
in this suspenseful romantic novel is superbly done. I found myself constantly holding
my breath and nervously listening for creaks in the house. There were some beautifully
crafted romantic moments that had me swooning for Dylan, and several moments when
I shed a tear. Stunning! The novel flowed very well, effectively creating a good balance
of suspense, character interaction and the lovely romance. The ending. Oh my! Tiffany,
what an ending you have created. I have no idea what to expect for book two, Obsession
and Sacrifice, other than I can not wait to read it. And no doubt it will be as wonderful as
The Impostor.” -Becky Johnson, Bex and Books

Obsession and Sacrifice is the second novel in a Suspenseful Romantic Series about
unexpected love and a woman’s fight for survival. It is a trilogy of growth, acceptance
and having the perseverance to begin again. -If you haven’t read the first book this has a few spoilers.

When Nicole wakes up in the hospital, she has no memory of who she is or how she got there. Only the scars on her body reveal some horrific event took place and she is lucky to be alive…alive…but could she still be in danger?

Her only hope to rediscover her past and avoid a killer's obsession lies in the hands of two men: sexy Dylan, her boyfriend, who used to captivate her, and Bradley, her charming best friend, who has secretly loved her all along. She feels safe around both
men but to her, they are strangers. Nicole must decide who to trust, not only with her heart, but with her life.

The two men vow to give her a second chance at life and both will sacrifice everything to make sure she survives.

Review:

Excellent! - Obsession & Sacrifice is here & it did not disappoint! The second of the trilogy
gives you a tiny re-cap of the last chapter from the ‘The Impostor’ & sets the atmosphere
ready for the roller-coaster of a read that awaits you! Once again the authors’ descriptive
writing connects you right at the heart of the outstanding romance, intrigue, suspense &
action. Yet again, Tiffany has written another book that I just couldn’t put down. There are
so many different aspects to this book & the author has succeeded in making every chapter
progress & flow at an exhilarating pace. Overall it’s a 10/10 from me & I’m here pacing the
floor again, ready for the book. –Nicki Wilson

Meet Tiffany

BIO:
When Tiffany Carmouché is not writing romance novels, you can find her sculpting, traveling, teaching, singing, dancing, escaping in music or enjoying her family.

From skydiving in Alaska to scuba diving in Hawaii, Carmouché has traveled the worls seeking adventure. These include riding camels in Africa, swimming under the stars in Puerto Rico, dancing salsa in Ecuador, and walking the cobblestone roads of Assisi, Italy. She has also found fulfillment working with the disabled and orphans in Argentina and Mexico. Her most cherished moments, however, have been watching her two beautiful daughters grow and strive to
accomplish their own dreams.

Despite all of these amazing experiences, she has survived many struggles. There was a time she felt defeated, but now she is recommitted to savoring experiences both in the novels she writes and in the life she lives each day. Her secret hope is that anyone who is struggling will realize there is a light at the end of the tunnel and no matter how hard the fight, no matter how many times they have been knocked down, it is always worth staggering up to their feet and learning to breathe again.

When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

To be honest, I never wanted to be a writer. I just write. I create. I never planned it… it just
kinda happened. As a kid, the playground became a story book. As a teen, I would sleep with
a notebook by my bed. Now, sometimes I sleep with my laptop under my pillow. Believe me,
this wasn’t my intention, but I have been so blessed by my wonderful fans, amazing bloggers,
incredibly supportive authors, and this whole experience… I didn’t want to be a writer but for
some reason…I am now an addict!

How long did it take you to write your book?

The Impostor took a month to write… the Nano challenge. It takes a lot longer to go through
Beta Readers, edits etc. It can take 3-6 months usually to write.(It depends on how often I can
lock myself away and not feel guilty. I try to write when it doesn’t cut into family time but that
doesn’t always work) After it is written, it goes to Beta Readers and edits begin. The hardest part
is waiting to get it back when you send it out. Pacing the floor and biting your nails, you wait to
hear the feedback. I have beta readers get it back to me in a week, and others I am still waiting to
hear from and it has been almost a year…but I know people are busy. I have had amazing beta
readers. They are such an important part of my journey!

What genre is your book? What made you choose to write in that category?

New Adult. I have worked with teens for over 10 years and although I love their energy, and YA
is so enticing… I didn’t want to sensor my work and I wanted to mingle with adults for a change.

What was your work schedule like when you were writing?

I have sat in front of the computer for 20 hours when no one was home. When people are home I
have to actually try to live a life…imagine that… I have no set schedule because my life doesn’t let me. When I can, I write.

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

I have to do a dance to bring on the muse. I light candles and pound on the drums and booty
pop… no, I wish it was that easy. My muse is sassy and usually comes when I am driving 60mph
down the highway in a hurry to get somewhere and I can’t pull over to write. My quirk? I love
writing in PJ’s :) Doesn’t always work, but on my marathon days, when no one is home, that is
my work uniform of choice.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

My life….my muse…things that fascinate me…My first book was based on much of my
experiences in Alaska, but the second book was mostly inspired by my muse! I haven’t named
her yet, but she is awesome! When I am trying to get in the head of my serial killer, I often meet
someone in criminal justice over bubble tea. God, I could use an almond bubble tea now! (They
don’t sell them anywhere around here : ) She got me hooked on them! It is fun to have someone
enjoy the demented mind as much as I do.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

I have published two. The Impostor, A Love Story and Obsession and Sacrifice…I can’t choose.
I like them for different reasons. The Impostor is more the Cinderella story and Obsession is
more the Sleeping Beauty story…except she wakes up and there are two princes instead of one
and there is a serial killer after her. You can tell I am tired. My mind is playing around again.
They are not fairy tales. I do not want to disappoint anyone. Back to the question, :) I loved
writing both of them. I can’t choose.

Are you currently working on another book? If so, is it part of a series or something
different?

I am working on book 3 and 4 of the series. (It is terrible because it started out as a trilogy and
I had it all mapped out. Then I created this character and I have to write another book. I want
to write the forth book first because this muse is so vivid in the scenes from it right now, but I
realize my readers want the third book first…Imagine that.

I am also working on a book called Out of the Shadows. I will explain more about it and how
you can help below.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

I love my family. When times are hard or wonderful, me and my daughters sit around the table
for hours and try to make sense of life. We talk about everything. We solve the world’s problems
and talk of our dreams. I love spending time with family. Whether we are playing soccer (which
I am not really good at but have fun anyway), hiking, playing at the beach or just talking, we
have a wonderful time together. They are my life.

I love to dance, sculpt, travel and love the outdoors… I love my facebook friends. It is amazing
how you can never have met someone in person yet you grow so close to them online!

What was one of the most surprising things you learned about yourself in creating your
books?

I could do it. I hadn’t written in years. I was in an oppressive relationship and really lost myself
and gave up the things I loved to do. I would write poetry because it was something I could
sneak and do. When my husband abandoned us and took all of the money, I have to say it was
a little devastating. I had no idea how I would survive. I had been brainwashed for years that I
was stupid, ugly, and not worth anything. I kept taking him back because he was my highschool
sweetheart and he promised he had changed. But, he didn’t and I would get crushed again. Each
time I would get a little more broken. I began The Impostor days after he left the last time. I
decided to try the Nano challenge and I wrote the novel in a month. Me! The woman who would
look in the mirror ashamed at who she had become had actually finished a novel. I guess it was
one of the first stepping stones to rediscovering myself. I am not worthless. I am not a failure…
it was the beginning of this journey I am on. I have not arrived…each day I take a new step. But
one day I hope I will be able to look at the woman in the mirror… and not feel inadequate… one
day I hope I can look in the mirror and know I tried my best and gave it my all and that I was
strong enough to move past the pain.

Do you have any suggestions to help others become a better writer? If so, what are they?

Write! I have to admit I am probably the world’s worst speller and I still have a problem with
when to use lay, lie..laid… There are online classes you can take. I also tried to pay attention to
what my editor said so I wouldn’t make the same mistakes. I people watch. I try and use action
words. I study what I am going to write about. And most of all, I know that I am in the process
of learning. My father was in his 80’s and was still excited about learning. There is always room
for improvement! Very few authors make lots of money from this endeavor. They do it because
it is a part of who they are. As long as you do it for you, you will be happy. You will not please
everyone. Someone is going to not like what you do. That is okay! Keep writing anyway!

Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

I love interacting with my readers on facebook and emails. It always brightens my day. I
love to here what team they are on, or how a part of the book touched them or that they are
eagerly waiting my next. Here are some of my reviews…

The Impostor, A Love Story

“I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for the next one to find out what else happens with Nicole
and Dylan. Steamy romance and intense drama.”~ K. Pape (Texas)

“Right from the onset you feel connected to the story via the authors' lovely descriptive writing,
you can sense the anticipation & excitement of the characters, which draws you into the book
further. I found myself so `at one' with the feelings of each of the main characters', that my heart
was beating from my chest at many points throughout. The thriller/suspense aspect is fantastic!
I can only compare it too watching a movie where you want to shout "Run! Hide! Quick!" and
duck yourself behind a cushion, but just can't tear yourself away. I really don't want to give any
of the storyline away but I can say, the ending of The Impostor will make you pace the floor
eager for the next installment!” Nikki Wilson

Here are a few from Obsession and Sacrifice

“Intrigue, Deception, Romance and the beauty of the rugged Alaskan landscape…are the settings
for Tiffany Carmouche’s masterpiece of writing.” ~Theresa Stuart, California

“…A riveting story that tugged at my heart…” Kristina Snyder “It simply blew me away.”

“…An intense follow-up to The Imposter.” Becky Johnson, Australia “… Passionate, romance
fueled adventure.” Becky Johnson, Australia

“…Suspense, love and sleepless nights.” Samantha Truedale, USA

“A journey unraveling old family secrets, and keeping one step ahead of a sociopathic killer, out
to destroy them all.” ~Theresa Stuart, California

“…A crazy thrill ride and I never want to get off.” Justine Vandale, Canada “…It's fast- paced
and heart pounding. It was such a rush!”

“…Outstanding romance, intrigue, suspense & action.” Nicki Wilson, UK

“Awaiting breathlessly, for number three. I don’t want the story to end. Tiffany Carmouché
please say there will be more…..” Liz DiMaggio, New Orleans

What do you think makes a good story?

It is a mixture of so many things. Characters, plot, word choice… There are so many different
ways to tell a story and many authors have been effective in their own style.

As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

A dancer, a singer, a movie star, the president, a unicorn…

Are you self published or do you have a publisher? If self published, what made you decide
to go that route?

I had some small publishing companies talk to me. I knew I didn’t have the patience or desire
to go with a big publishing company. I like control too much. I wanted to be able to help chose
my covers. I wanted an editor who let me keep my voice, and I didn’t want to reinvent myself.
I wanted to be me. I am with C&C Legacy but they allow me to have complete control. (The
downside… I have to fumble through marketing. If anyone has any wonderful ideas on getting
the word out about my books, let me know. J I am looking for suggestions) I really have to rely
on my readers and bloggers to get the word out. Bloggers… if you would like me to visit, just
PM me! I would love to visit you! ) I love my fans! They have been wonderful! I got a message
that one of my fan’s bus driver is now reading my books! That made my day!

Attention:

I NEED YOU!
Out of the Shadows is a project, I am working on. As many of you know, I, like Nicole in The Alaska Series, escaped an abusive relationship to begin again.
I NEED YOU! I am looking for people who have been through a physically, or mentally abusive
relationship and survived. The book will be compiled of our stories. I feel if we can give even one person the courage to leave and break free of the cycle of abuse, we will have succeeded.
If you or anyone you know would like to be a part of this project, please contact me at
tiffanycarmouche@ymail.com
I will be accepting submissions through April.

Submissions can be:
*Poetry
*A chapter ~Your story (A paragraph -5 pages)
*Quotes from you on hope or overcoming obstacles
*Pictures, photography or drawings (black and white)
*Submissions can be from an adult or child’s point of view
*If you would prefer interview questions, I can send them instead/as well.

Out of the Shadows will be used to give hope to people who are afraid to leave the abuse, people who have been broken, and to the people who have begun their journey out of the shadows and into the light. All the money will go to help provide service to victims of abuse.

Sneak peek Obsession and Sacrifice ©2012 Tiffany Carmouche

My lips parted, too shy to say how much I wanted it, but hoping he would try again.
The moisture in his eyes glistened with the light of the flame, but he quickly wiped it

away.

“You’re alive,” he whispered, almost as if he didn’t believe it. “You’re alive.”
As he gazed at my lips, a tingle entered my stomach, replacing the annoying growl. He
leaned in to kiss me, but I had no idea who this sexy stranger was and a kiss could open doors I
wasn’t ready to enter, even though his lips looked so appetizing.
“Thank you so much.” I finally spoke.
“Anything for you, baby.” He continued to lean in slowly. My hand with all the crap
hanging out of it, touched his face to stop him. The gentle fuzz tickled me. I sat for a moment
and ran my hand gently over it enjoying the sensation as it pricked against my palm.
“I need to shave.” He put his hand on top of mine. Closing his eyes, he realized I wasn’t
ready to enjoy his lips and kissed my hand instead…

…Our glasses clanged and the bubbles popped in my mouth as I took the sip. It tickled
my tongue. I raised my glass for him to refill it and closed my eyes to feel it sizzle in my mouth
again.
“Would you like some dessert?”
“Are you trying to make me fat?” I grinned as he reached back into the box.
“Close your eyes. Let me see if you can guess what it is.”
I closed my eyes and opened my lips. The cold spoon touched my tongue bringing a
sweet creamy substance into my mouth. It had a tiny tartness and its decadent flavor burst as I let
it sit there for a moment to identify it.

“I taste chocolate.” I grinned. “And a tinge of strawberry. Mmm and this creaminess. It’s
not cold enough to be ice cream.” I swallowed. “Let me try another.” I opened my mouth again.
“I like it, that is graham cracker right?” I beamed. This was fun. “It’s cheesecake.” I
opened my eyes as if I had solved an important mystery. “It’s cheesecake.”
“Good job!” He smiled at me. “So should I be concerned you remember cheesecake but do not
remember my name?”
“We’re talking cheese cake, who can ever forget cheesecake?” A smile overtook my
face as I pleaded with my eyes. “Can I have some more?” ~Obsession and Sacrifice by Tiffany
