Angela Graham Author Spotlight

Hello fans! I'd like you to meet Angela Graham.

"I am happily married to my husband of five years, have three wonderful children and a beautiful feline companion that keeps me company during late night writing binges. My love of reading has been life long but it was in early 2012 when I was inspired to finally put pen to paper and write my first story. Since then I haven't been able to stop, fueled purely by my passion to write a story and create characters that readers will enjoy. New Adult romances are my go to books to read as well as to write. They are young, fresh and full of hope. What's not to love!"

Title: Inevitable
Author: Angela Graham
Genre: New Adult Romance
(Book 1 of 2)
Book Length: 308 pages

After experiencing a humiliating breakup, twenty-two-year-old Cassandra Clarke is fresh out of college and living a simple solitary life without any intentions of pursuing love anytime soon.

When the estate next door sells, the last thing Cassandra expects is the unnerving attraction she feels for her sinfully handsome neighbor, Logan West, the young and charming single father with a playboy reputation.

It’s through Oliver, Logan’s four-year-old son, who keeps popping up in her childhood tree house, that she slowly begins to catch glimpses of the compassionate and wounded man Logan has hidden beneath his strong exterior.

Cassandra knows it's wrong and that she's heading for another heartbreak.
Logan will never be able to give her what she wants…love.

I definitely interrupted someone tonight.
The naughty thoughts that crept through my mind in record time both appalled and fascinated me, as did my body’s incredible reaction to them.
Damn it. Pull yourself together Cassandra!
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to…interrupt.” I stuttered, looking anywhere but at him.
The woman, who I assumed was responsible for his nearly nude state, had appeared at some point and was standing behind him. Her chest pressed against his back and her eyes screamed at me to get lost, ‘he’s mine.’
Pulling myself out of my thoughts, I recognized her from around town, Katie. She was a grade above me in high school, I remembered her as one of the annoyingly popular girls.
“It’s not a problem, sweetheart. Did you need something?” He seemed oblivious to the woman rubbing her hands up and down his forearms, kissing the back of his neck. He raised his shoulder where her lips lingered, forcing her face away.
She frowned looking both embarrassed and annoyed.
His gaze never strayed from mine but his usual smirk slowly crept over his luscious lips. No, not luscious!
“Hmm?” I asked. All I could see was the perfect stubble surrounding his chiseled jaw and plump, kissable lips. Think, Cassandra, think.
Why was this so hard? I never had this reaction to a man before.
I shook my head again. “Right, I made these for you and Oliver.” Finally, something that pulled me back to reality, Oliver. His son. The son that needed me to stay off—no—away from his father.

What genre are your books? What made you choose to write in those categories?

Contemporary Romance and New Adult Romance. I love writing about falling in love and the journey lovers take together to make it last.

What was your work schedule like when you were writing?

I write every chance I have and whenever the mood strikes. I prefer to write in the morning when my mind is fresh.

Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

Life. There is not one thing or place. They just come from out of the blue or I’ll see someone and wonder what they’re story is.

How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

Finishing my second book now and Inevitable has been my favorite to write.

Of your favorite, who would you cast as the characters?

Josh Duhamel and Candice Accola.

How do you choose the men for your covers?

Looks. The man on Inevitable had a great five o’clock shadow that I completely fell in love with.

What do you like to do when you're not writing?

Hanging out with my kids and just enjoying life. Also shopping, I could spend every day in a book store.
What does your family think of your writing?

Thats a mixed bag but for the most part they have been supportive. It can take alot of my attention so i have been working on trying to spend as much time working on my books when it least affects my family.
What was one of the most surprising things you learned about yourself in creating your books?

How focused I can be doing it. I can sit down to write and feel like a knocked out a chapter in a few minutes and look at the clock and realized three hours past.

What’s been the best “Author” moment you’ve had since you began writing?

I love hearing from readers.Whether their I completely without a doubt love hearing a reader tell me how they connected with Cassandra or another character. it really touches me to know that someone out there really enjoyed my book. I am blown away and utterly grateful.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

I wanted to be a teacher as a young child and as I grew up the only thing I truly enjoyed was writing so I should have thought about being an author but I never did.
