Um, yea, I made my point right? So, here's what I find funny. That the fans think they know who should play these characters more than the author, who created them, and the producers, who know an actors ability. IE: http://www.theguardian.com/film/2013/sep/04/fifty-shades-grey-hunnam-johnson-protest Hello!! You're petitioning to make the actors who you want? What about us bad ass chicks who weren't even going to see the movie, until Charlie was announced. Do you think you know better than the producer? What if this producer knows Matt Bomer is just eye candy and a horrible horrible actor? (Please don't hurt me, I'm asking you hypothetically.)
I find it funny that our culture these days feel they know everything. They know what's right, wrong and better than anyone else. Some times things just go to far. But, I have to give it to the people working on this movie. Since the books are such a huge hit (rolls eyes) they will deal with a lot of this BS along the way. But then I guarantee that when the movie opens, it goes through the roof. Fickle housewives with nothing better to do than decide who should play in a movie being made, listen up. This is what the producer, Dana Brunetti had to say:
"There is a lot that goes into casting that isn't just looks," he tweeted. "Talent, availability, their desire to do it, chemistry with other actor, etc. So if your favourite wasn't cast, then it is most likely due to something on that list. Keep that in mind while hating and keep perspective."
