Babies for the Billionaire Giveaway

Babies for the Billionaire (The BAD BOY BILLIONAIRES Series) by Judy Angelo

Anya Petersen has always been described as gentle, understanding and quiet. The last thing she'd be called is a bully. But when a certain handsome stranger walks into her life her defense instincts go into overdrive and she does whatever it takes to protect her heart - by keeping him far away from her. Then he turns up in the last place she would expect - and that's when she knows, where the battle for her heart is concerned, she's already lost the fight.

Rafe Kent is so entranced by the German beauty he meets while touring Europe that he will do anything it takes to be with her, even if it means moving halfway across the world. But there's no way he could have known that getting close to the woman who's stolen his heart would mean he'd need a crash course in handling tiny tots...and fast!

Meet Judy

I'm a lover of all things romance - novels, poetry, flowers and chocolate (Snickers and chocolate covered peanuts are my favorite). I also love visiting romantic destinations - the sunny beaches of the Caribbean and romantic European cities.

Interview

What is your favorite part of writing about Billionaires?

I love creating a world of fantasy for my readers and what better fantasy than to be swept away by a billionaire bad boy?  More than the 'billionaire' part, though, I love creating heroes my readers can fall in love with - strong alpha males, each with a lovable flaw that makes him more human and so much more intriguing.  I also love writing those parts where the heroine has the upper hand.  It's so much fun when the girl gets him good.

Which of your couples is your favorite? Why?

I fall in love with each of my couples as I meet them in new stories.  While I'm writing their story I'm loving them.    Because of this, if I have to pick one couple then it would have to be Anya and Rafe from my latest release, 'Babies for the Billionaire'.  I love how they are so different from each other - Rafe, the rebel and rolling stone and Anya, the deceptively quiet and calm school teacher - and yet they're able to connect and fall in love.  Each one ends up being a huge surprise to the other, Rafe with the babies and Anya with how she handles herself in an area ruled by men.  It's their differences that actually brought them together and made them fall in love.

Who was the biggest influence in your life of writing?

I've always been an avid reader, devouring Mills & Boon romance novels when I was a teenager.  I believe that reading experience, more than any single person, had a huge impact on me and made me want to write stories of my own.  I would also like to acknowledge the influence of my late mother who had me reading from the age of three and graduating to chapter books by age five.  Once she got me started I never looked back.

When you write....
Favorite Drink:  Carrot juice ( so refreshing, and good for you, too!)
Favorite Snack:  Popcorn (very light caramel flavoring)
Music:  I love old school music - sweet like 'Because You Loved Me' by Celine Dion and sexy like 'Crazy' by Brian McKnight.

How do you unwind in between books? (Hobbies, trips... etc)

In between books I usually read a text book.  That's how I relax and get my mind off writing for a while.  After 'Babies for the Billionaire' I read some statistics but I'm back on the writing wagon again and am now working on 'Billionaire's Blackmail Bride'.  It's Ridge's story (from the Kent billionaire brothers).  I can hardly wait to release this one for my readers.  I've already released stories for Ransom and Rafe so this will be billionaire brother number three.  After that, one more brother to go - Ryder.  I love me some billionaire brothers!

  1. I like reading when the woman brings the billionaire down a notch or two. Most of the billionaires have this attitude of entitlement because everyone is always doing what the billionaire says to do. I love when the woman does the complete opposite but the billionaire falls for her and gets out of his comfort zone for her. Oh and when he shows his weakness or his vulnerability it gets me every single time.

  2. This was a great interview. I like reading the billionaire romances because they usually fall for an ordinary woman. That usually knocks a little of the arrogance out of them as well. A man wiling to do anything to please his lady is always sexy!!

  3. I love to read when a strong woman is able to bring out the "normal" aspect of a billiionaire and win his respect and love. I also love it when an author is able to put that male hero out of his comfort zone!

  7. I love that the woman can handle themselves and don't take crap from the guy and i love how the guy starts to see being with a woman as something of giving yourself rather than gifts or buying people off :)
