Hide your virgins! These are not your mother's Vikings. Nine "out of this world" Viking erotic romances: modern, sexy versions of the original alpha male bad boy heroes. Nine brand new bedtime stories!

VIKING FIRE by award-winning author CRYSTAL JORDAN. Wolf-shifter Erik once betrayed the only woman he ever loved, the shieldmaiden Bryn, and it cost both their lives. Now, they serve the gods as immortal warriors, and an ancient prophecy forces them together to try to stop the coming apocalypse. What they don’t expect is for the fire to burn as hot between them as ever.

AT THE VIKING’S COMMAND by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author ANNE MARSH. A werewolf tries to protect her Pack and ends up in the arms of a ruthless Viking. Following her Viking’s orders ignites a fiery passion and fulfills her secret fantasies, but can she claim her Viking for keeps?

HEL's BELLES by DAYNA HART. Hela's one-night stand is assigned to mentor her through the creation of her new motorcycle club, but as their relationship starts to develop, the secrets she's keeping might cost her everything.

THE VIKING QUEEN'S MEN by award-winning author HOLLEY TRENT. As the newly installed queen of an enclave of telepathic Viking descendants, Tess is the final arbiter of conflicts. Unfortunately, the very first one she has to resolve is in her own bedroom. Two men would fight to the death to win her, but to gain full control of her considerable power, she must find a way to keep them both.

TAMING THE VIKING'S DRAGON by SHAWNTELLE MADISON. Only two riders can command an ice dragon…Drifa wants nothing more than to complete her training as a Woman of Frost, but she is called to help destroy an evil force fallen from the stars. Three years ago, she left Steinn behind. To fight this new foe, they must forget their differences and reunite as man and woman. But for two Viking warriors, waging war is easier than forging peace.

A VIKING'S PEACE by NYT Bestselling Author ZOE YORK. Thrown together in an intergalactic diplomatic mission, Reinn and Ashleigh know they must fight the burning attraction between them. But this Viking has finally found his mate, and nothing else matters.

VIKING'S HEART by national bestselling author LORIBELLE HUNT. Jolie Hall is ready for her life to change. Being given to a Viking to clear her father's debts isn’t quite what she had in mind, however. She can’t deny she’s drawn to Stone Ulfson, but can she believe his claim that she is his destined mate?

VIKING'S FURY by award-winning author SARANNA DEWYLDE. Magnus the Destroyer will do anything to escape prison planet Hel and punish his captors, including taking the warden's innocent daughter Mercy as collateral. Only after they crash on an uninhabited planet, Magnus learns some things are more precious than vengeance.

VIKING UNBOUND by New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author KATE PEARCE. Encased in ice, traveling through space and thousands ofyears adrift from his world, Viking Einarr Bloodaxe can’t help but respond to the call of his female and finally break free of his magical entrapment.

4.0 out of 5 stars Halfway through bookOctober 10, 2014
This review is from: Vikings Unleashed: 9 modern Viking erotic romances (Kindle Edition)
VIKING FIRE by award-winning author CRYSTAL JORDAN - My pet peeve is a book/story that has to explain to me what things are before the book but then also explains in the story as well. It's unnecessarily repetitive. This story just wasn't for me. I couldn't get into it. It felt odd that there are grand kids that are about the same age as the main characters and what not. The story just did nothing for me. Sure it was sexy, but didn't hold my interest.

AT THE VIKING'S COMMAND by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author ANNE MARSH - Oh man! I loved loved loved this! Calder was awesome. I love quiet, strong men. I wanted to know more about the other guys! I really got into this story. The fact that they had that bond from the beginning was great. I enjoyed the Viking/Paranormal aspect of the story. This one was super hot and sexy!

HEL's BELLES by DAYNA HART- This story felt too much like a steam-punk to me. I didn't really feel it. It was not something I would normally read, which is fine. I still read it, but I wasn't surprised that I didn't enjoy it.

THE VIKING QUEEN'S MEN by award-winning author HOLLEY TRENT - "And holy f***, he was a man, and of the rare please bend me over and f*** me without saying hello sort." That line certainly describes Ollie! I loved Harvey and Ollie in this book. I wasn't too into Tess. But her men were great. I loved the story, sort of Queen makes her own rules. The concept was interesting and I'll probably read the next in the series.

TAMING THE VIKING'S DRAGON by SHAWNTELLE MADISON - This felt too fantasy not enough sexy for me. The battle scenes, all of it, just wasn't able to make me super excited about the story.

Author Bios:

When Kate Pearce says, "Filthy Vikings?", her friends get writing. Vikings Unleashed is the joyful product of nine romance authors, united in their fascination with the modern, sexy re-telling of the original alpha male bad boy. Pearce is a NYT and USA Today bestselling author of more than 30 romance novels. She's joined by NYT and USA Today bestselling authors Anne Marsh and Zoe York, award-winning authors Crystal Jordan and Holley Trent, national bestselling author Loribelle Hunt, as well as, Saranna De Wylde, Shawntelle Madison and Dayna Hart.

After ten years of graduate school and too many degrees, Anne Marsh escaped to become a technical writer. When not planted firmly in front of the laptop translating Engineer into English, Anne enjoys gardening, running (even if it’s just to the 7-11 for slurpees), and reading books curled up with her kids. The best part of writing romance, however, is finally being able to answer the question: “So… what do you do with a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures?” Become a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author that’s what!

Never one to stay in one place very long, Crystal Jordan has lived and worked all over the United States. Currently, she serves as a librarian at a university in the California Bay Area.
In 2006, Crystal sold the first story she ever finished to the e-publisher, Cobblestone Press. Since then, she’s sold contemporary, paranormal, futuristic, and erotic romance to Samhain Publishing, Harlequin Spice Briefs, The Wild Rose Press, and Ellora’s Cave.
Then, the day before the 2007 RWA National Conference, she got The Call to be a part of Kensington Aphrodisia’s Sexy Beast anthology. After a whirlwind month, she had an agent and an additional two-book deal with Kensington.
And she lived happily ever after.

Dayna Hart hates writing bios more than almost anything except crawly-bugs (which means one of her four sons is, of course, determined to be an entomologist when he grows up.) Without her husband, she would have a houseful of cats, but with his influence, they have stopped at three. For now. When not writing, Dayna can be found streaming entire seasons of TV shows on Netflix (while eating either salt and vinegar potato chips or a chocolate bar (Bounty is her current fave)), playing video games, or dancing around the house to (loud) emo music. You can find her on her favorite social media sites, but there are absolutely NO photos or video allowed of said dancing. (You’re welcome)

Holley Trent is a Carolina girl gone west. Raised in rural coastal North Carolina, she’s a lady with Southern sensibilities, but in 2011 her adventurous spirit drove her to Colorado for new experiences. She lives on the Front Range with her husband, two kids, and two cats. She writes snarky contemporary and paranormal romances ranging from sensual to erotic that are usually set in her home state. Her humor is sometimes subtle, often ribald, and regularly inappropriate. If any of her stories seem overly serious at first glance–keep reading.
She’s a winner of the inaugural CIM-RWA Abalone Award (for My Nora) and a three-time Colorado Romance WritersAward of Excellence finalist (My NoraCalculated Exposure, and A Demon in Waiting). A Demon in Waiting was aRomConReaders’ Crown finalist in 2014.
Kate Pearce was born into a large family of girls in England, and spent much of her childhood living very happily in a dream world. Despite being told that she really needed to ‘get with the program’, she graduated from the University College of Wales with an honors degree in history. After graduation, real life did intervene and she ended up working in finance which was not the greatest career choice for a would-be writer!
A move to the USA finally allowed her to fulfill her dreams and sit down and write that novel. Along with being a voracious reader, Kate loves trail riding with her family, ‘western style’ in the regional parks of Northern California. Kate writes in several different romance sub-genres under different names. She is a member of RWA and is published by Kensington Aphrodisia, Ellora’s Cave and Virgin Black Lace/Cheek.

Loribelle Hunt is a beach bunny at heart, but in a pinch she’ll settle for a pool. An Atlanta native, the Army relocated her to southern Alabama more years ago than she cares to remember. Since it only snows once every two decades or so, she decided to stay. She lives with her husband of twenty years, their three kids, and way too many English Springer Spaniels. She writes erotic science fiction and paranormal romance often with a Southern accent.

Saranna De Wylde has always been fascinated by things better left in the dark. She wrote her first story after watching The Exorcist at a slumber party. Since then, she’s published horror, romance and narrative nonfiction. Like all writers, Saranna has held a variety of jobs, from operations supervisor for an airline, to an assistant for a call girl, to a corrections officer. But like Hemingway said, “Once writing has become your major vice and greatest pleasure, only death can stop it.” So she traded in her cuffs for a full-time keyboard. She loves to hear from her readers.

Shawntelle Madison loves to write stories where something mysterious always happens. Her stories unfold in either a magical place or she drop kicks her heroine and hero into the mix of crazy magical circumstances. Her characters have been swimming around in her head for the longest of time, but its only recently that she has given into their demands and wrote down their adventures.
Why paranormal? Well, every time she thinks about writing something straight forward she gets caught in the what-if exercise. What if her hero was a werewolf or if her heroine was a nymph? How far could she go down the rabbit hole and not sound crazy? (Yet still be somewhat believable?) Writing is one of her first loves, besides web development. She is a die hard geek who earned her undergraduate degree in Math from Iowa State University. (She even almost finished a degree in Russian Studies.)
Her debut novel, Coveted, was chosen as a B&N Romance Bookseller pick for the month of May.

Zoe York is a busy working mom of two young boys, and she has been a voracious romance reader for as long as she can remember. In early 2012, she got an idea for a novel. Then another, and another. Her Google Drive account exploded with outlines and chunks of text and character bibles.
Over Christmas, she started a holiday novella. By the end of January, it was clear she was going to wander past novella length, and the story wasn’t limited to the holiday season. And it wasn’t just one book, anymore – it was also an introduction to a small town, Wardham.
A year later, she is putting the finishing touches on the fourth Wardham title, and getting ready to launch a new series (Camo Cay). That series will be written on a much slower schedule, but look for the first two titles in 2014.
