This was a very emotional book. I have to say, I can really feel for Shelly. Been there, done that, gave him a 2nd chance and got hurt again. I have to say though, Cal really deeply loved Shelly. You could tell in the way he acted, the way he tried to show her. The dates were romantic. Both characters battled with their feelings for each other and you could feel those emotions, you could feel their love. I think this was really well written and I'm certainly interested in what happens with their friends and support characters.
My only dislike was the reality of their lives. It seems everyone spent money without worry, dressed to perfection and looked like beautiful mean girls without being mena. It didn't feel realistic in that aspect. But I loved the romance of it.
