If you enjoy historical sagas with a bit of romance, then you're going to want to read this! Think The Gladiator, 300, any "Ancient Saga Movie" and this is that book! We have Roman Gladiators, soldiers, war, slaves, and more! This harrowing tale is quite the read. This isn't some quick story. At times, I felt it was a little too drawn out. But in all, it sets up a lot of story, history and more. Bear with it! I'm telling you.. keep going! It was an amazing story. I lost myself in this world.

Without his memories, Cordus has to create a new life for himself with borrowed skills. This story moved much much quicker than the first one. The action packed plot moved along better. What an amazing surprise in this story we get about a character from book 1! (I won't ruin it, but I was so happy!) This story had a bit more romance element. It was still a great saga that will pull you in and make you feel like you're living in another world! The authors have a flair for describing things where you almost feel the gritty world they are in. I'm looking forward to more from these authors.

In between renovating her beach and river houses, Tamara McHatton writes about the heroes that have influenced her life. She grew up on the Space Coast, and spent time with astronauts, military heroes, and special ops ghosts. This fueled her love of intrigue and adventure and it shows in her stories. She has recently taken up tandem surfing with the love of her life, and cover model, Evan Scott. During the warm summer months, you can find her on the beach, on the board, working to perfect her newest passion.
Lysa Demorest - Born in 1984, Lysa Demorest has since filled her time with a love of books, renaissance faires, science fiction, and role-play writing.
