I loved the first half of this story. Heather is getting lost driving out into the middle of nowhere to find a party her friend is working at. I loved the idea of a hidden dress up, historical party, in the woods, camping. It was fun an interesting. Then there's an attempted kidnapping and it goes haywire. We get thrown for a loop with a paranormal aspect out of nowhere. I felt it didn't fit. had we just continued with the romance, the failed abduction, I would have gladly given this story 4/5 stars. It felt like 2 separate stories. The paranormal aspect wasn't bad. It was interesting, I enjoyed that part as well. My problem was that those both did not fit together for me. There was no lead up at all to give you a hint of the paranormal aspect either. | |||||||||||
