Blood, Brains and Bullets

Blood, Brains and Bullets is Book One of the new Blood, Brains and Bullets series by Sean Liebling and starts on day one of the outbreak and continues through the first seven full days after it's apocalyptic climax.

Jay has started his daily routine as a single father of three when the news hits of massive deaths then reanimations from the vaccine distributed by the government to combat the super flu virus that had been sweeping the globe. For Jay, it's irritating because it interrupt's Jay's normal comedic attempts at nailing every sweet piece of ass in the area. Being a survivalist means he has a lot of 'stuff' as you can never have too much and before he can even take shelter in his homemade retreat to ride out the apocalypse, friends start showing up who need his help. Before he knows it, he's forced into the unenviable position of assuming leadership over his community, or what's left of it, and fighting on multiple fronts against the forces of the evil undead, marauders and assassin's of the secret shadow government with a secret New World Order plan. Of course, that plan of theirs doesn't include him and his, so this Marine does what all Marines do best. He kicks ass without bothering to take names, while along the way he happens to fall into the clutches of a girl or three. Women can be very demanding. Even during a Zombie Apocalypse!

Jay is a dedicated self-styled player who gets lucky more often than not, and has a soft spot for children. As one of those survivalist's they always talk about on the news, he's better prepared than most when the shit hits the fan. During the coming days and weeks, he will be forced through circumstances to grow up (reluctantly) and strive his utmost to save his community, while melding close friends, survivors and salvaged military units on the run, from assassination forces of a secret shadow government dedicated to a New World Order through a 200-year-old Eugenics plan. But it isn't over yet, because Jay is a Marine, and he has a few tricks up his sleeve, which he fully intends to implement while accumulating as many girlfriends as possible.

This series will make you laugh hysterically at Jay's womanizing antics while being forced to grow up and act his age, then crying like a baby during scenes of heart rending tragedy and sacrifice, as it depicts real life tragedy and situations. It will also make you cheer when and if the forces of good triumph over those of evil. Written with the help of a Medical Doctor and Doctor of Psychology along with survivalist friends of all stripes, the scenes you will read inside are what really happen in an endgame situation with a comedic spin to it.

This book is a testament to what Good Men can do when Doing Nothing simply isn't an option! The trick you see - is to act quickly and decisively. Being a Marine also helps of course!

Riser (Teen Horror/Science Fiction) (Book #1 in The Riser Saga) ((Volume 1))

Black swirling holes churning madly in the center of every corpse. This is how eighteen-year-old Chelsan Derée sees the deceased. Her ability to connect to the black spinning holes allows her to control every dead thing within a four-mile radius.

But that’s the least of her problems. It’s 2320 and Chelsan Derée has to survive another year of high school, which for her is pure and utter torture, mainly due to the fact that her schoolmate Jill Forester’s favorite activity is making Chelsan’s life a living hell. If that isn’t enough, Chelsan’s impossible crush on Ryan Vaughn makes her brain do somersaults on a regular basis, especially since she is positive he doesn’t know she exists. And being eighteen Chelsan has to deal with the pressure of whether or not she should take a little pill called Age-pro, which cures aging, making the world eighteen forever and highly over-populated.

When Chelsan’s mother, Janet, is brutally killed, along with everyone else in her trailer park, Chelsan finds out that she was the intended target.

Chelsan must use her power to raise and control the dead to save herself, protect her friends and take down the man responsible for murdering her mother.

Zombie Nights (Rays and Nights)

"Being a zombie, not so easy". That could have been Dave Connor's six word memoir. "At first he couldn't remember how he'd ended up in that shallow grave; he just knew it was hell to claw his way out, and that the taste of its dirt would remain in his mouth for the rest of his time on this earth" ... Expect the unexpected in this existential resurrection thriller.

The Book's Review of Itself:

This is not really a story about zombies, for of course there are no such creatures, only maybe that some people are more dead than others, and while some people may have all the luck, others have very little of it. This is an absurdist fable at heart, whose moral is that no matter where you go, there you are, even after death.

Zombie Tales: Primrose Court Apt. 305

Charles Grimly has marital problems you wouldn't believe and his mommy issues are a little too much for him to handle. He may not be all there, but he has to hold it together if he's going to make it through this day in one piece.

Enjoy this short story based in the world of my novel Don of the Living Dead.

Resurrection #1

*publishers note. This series was previously published as "Resurrection: A Zombie Epic". Now edited to fit a ten part series format.

An ultra-secret Army medical project has gone wrong, terribly wrong. An experimental biological agent has been released into the air. Now it's coming down in the rain, reanimating dead tissue. LZR-1143: Perspectives

In a world overrun by the living dead, every victim has a story. These are some of those stories. This collection of six short stories from a world ravaged by the LZR-1143 virus tell the tale of six different people, all of whom fell victim, in different ways, to the deadly plague.

From the pilot of a commercial aircraft, overwhelmed in midair, to the lonely soldier stranded high above a world of the undead, the six characters each face their own fears and mortality in different ways.

This 20,000 word short-story collection features a unique selection of characters from the original zombie novel by Bryan James, LZR-1143: Infection, and from the recently released sequel, LZR-1143: Evolution. Each character appears only fleetingly in the longer novels, but each has their own unique thread in the LZR-1143 storyline, all of which are exposed in these short excerpts from their final hours alive.

The collection includes The Pilot, The Boy, The Inmate, The Fry Cook, The Subway Passenger, and The Sniper. In The Pilot, a commercial aviator sees his last flight end in a way he never could have imagined. In The Boy, a family trip is cut short, and a lonely homecoming is not at all as he anticipated. We see the surprising genesis and true identity of a traveling companion in The Inmate, while The Fry Cook reveals the final moments of a teenage fast food worker. In The Subway Passenger, we learn that in the case of zombie apocalypse, you’d probably rather be aboveground. And in The Sniper, the surprising truth that there are some fates that cannot be fought, even with a fifty caliber rifle.

STEM (Zombpunk)

Elder Tull is a Puke, one of the few unconverted. Without a stem, he's been discarded by society.

Forgotten.

Those converted now fed directly on electricity, through a power socket attached to their sternums. This cybernetic implant has transformed mankind: everyone is beautiful, everyone is healthy, everyone is thin. The stem regulates everything.

Meanwhile, the Pukes are left to scavenge in the gutter, their minds burned out by starvation. Forced to squabble for what few crumbs remain, they've resigned themselves to living like the walking dead, shambling through a world of the eternally young...

Until the day it all comes crashing down.

One tiny glitch in the stem and the world goes insane. The few Pukes left now face a new threat: the mindless, snarling jaws of those Stems that had once seemed so perfect. With the lights out, they're searching for a new source of energy.... hungry for human flesh...

Zombpunk: STEM is a postmodernist reinterpretation of the classic zombie genre, where the ranks of the walking dead are not filled with filthy, rotting corpses, but the young, forever perfect empty husks of a collapsed consumer culture.

When the world finally runs out of food, will the living envy the (un)dead?

Sven the Zombie Slayer (Book 1)

He would have to fight through hordes of undead, merciless other survivors, and a series of death defying stunts to get home. However, even if he makes it there, how can he be sure they're safe?

Deadlocked puts you into David's head as he struggles to get home. Then a final confrontation occurs that could guarantee his family's survival, but at what cost?

Perhaps he knows more than he is letting on?

Circus of the Dead

Twenty years ago, the dead destroyed the world of the living. The survivors scattered in the wake of the Scourge, erecting small towns in the worlds' most sparsely populated areas.

For young Gabriel, the walking dead are merely the memories that haunt the eyes of those old enough and lucky enough to have survived. He is more concerned with his hard life in America's desert, where his chores keep him busy and the husks of books stashed beneath the cellar of the library are his only freedom.

Until the circus comes to town.
